May Devotions: Who Am I?
May Devotions:Who Am I?
The Bible says that God knows everything about us.
Psalm 139: 1-3, (NIV) tells us: “You have searched me Lord and you know me.You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceives my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.(13-14) For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my Mother’s womb.I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.(23-24) Search me O God, and know my anxious thoughts.See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”
It is true that the God of the universe knows you better than you know yourself. His promise gives us confidence and protection so we don’t have to travel this life alone. Each week, Pastor reminds us of eternal life in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, who gave His life on the cruel cross that our sins might be forgiven.Easter morning, He arose from the dead as our victorious Savior!
Deuteronomy 31:6 says:“… Be strong and courageous.Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God is with you; He will never leave you or forsake you.” (NIV)
We have a big God who loves you and me. Jesus desires to walk with us through this life forever! Please don’t put it off; ask Him to come into your life today.
